PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- He quit his banking post to pursue his passion for photography at the height of the pandemic. Now, CJ Wolfe is using his creative studio to be the change he wanted to see... helping Philadelphia kids one photo at a time.

The hallways are buzzing in the afternoons between periods at Boys’ Latin Charter High School in West Philly. Some students speed walk to class. Some cluster in groups to share a laugh. Others stop at their lockers, grab their backpacks, and head out the door. They’re off to work. The school’s new internship program sought to match all 87 students of the junior class with opportunities around the city where they can explore their career interests.

Larry Fullwood sat at center court of Hissey Playground in Kensington laying down drafting tape Saturday afternoon. He was anxiously methodical in approaching his first mural project. Over and over he ripped a short piece of tape, stuck it to the cement and stepped back, mapping out the design in his head…

To me, a picture is not just worth a 1000 words, it is a powerful way to make your vision immortal. I believe photography and videography is not just a tool to preserve memories but a way to launch inspiration into the future. I founded Immortal Vision Studio with this in mind in 2020, pivoting from my five-year plan in corporate finance.

“I was always creating when I was in corporate,” said Wolfe, a 26-year-old Philadelphia native. “It just hit me that I could do this full time and I could show that this can be done to other creators, especially in the Philadelphia area.”
